About

MY STORY

I am a San Francisco-based communications strategist, brand specialist and catalyst of positive change.

I help tech companies, entrepreneurs, nonprofits and social enterprises tell stories that raise awareness of important issues, connect with influencers and transform fans into loyal customers and advocates.

With diverse expertise in PR, marketing, employee engagement, brand strategy, executive coaching and leadership development, I design and execute integrated communications campaigns that spark conversations, inspire action and deliver results. My client portfolio spans a wide range of industries including consumer tech, enterprise software, social impact, clean energy, women and youth empowerment, health and wellness and scientific research.

My sweet spot is working with purpose-driven individuals and organizations that embrace business and technology as a force for good to bring about high impact change.

I have worked with some of the smartest people in the communications industry at agencies large and small including UPRAISE PR + Marketing, SHIFT Communications, Bonfire Communications, Spark PR, Burson-Marsteller, Middleberg Euro and Golin/Harris International.

With a professional coaching certification from the Empowerment Institute and trainings in human-centered design, conscious leadership and multi-stakeholder collaboration, I bring my clients the latest strategies and tools for inspiring innovative thinking, clarity of purpose and authentic branding. My love for storytelling is informed by improv training and solo stage performance as well as producing and directing an award winning short documentary film called RE: Invention.

I have a M.A. in Speech Communication with a research focus on social movements and a B.S. in Marketing with a concentration in organizational communications. When I’m not brainstorming ways to tell stories, you can find me making up new lyrics to old songs, exploring the wilds of Northern California with my family and planning my next film.
